iPhone and Nokia N97
A Nokia N-series introduced in January ’09, the Nokia N97, and already all the noise is whether or not this will be the iPhone slaughterer that’s been predicts for so long. Here is a some differences between two devices.
On the look, the nokia n97 looks more similar to the iPhone than any other Nokia phone. It is a slim candy bar shape but it is slighter than the iPhone’s. The modest buttons are one instead of two and the 3.5 inch touch screen take up the mass of the face. You come to understand that the N97 is also thicker and heavier than the iPhone.
Although the same size touch screen of the iPhone and the N97′s screen resolution is16:9 widescreen 640 x 360 pixels but the iPhone’s 3:2 widescreen 320 x 480. For multimedia and video playback, gaming, and photo managing the N97 better than iPhone.
While both the iPhone and the N97 support many audio and video formats, the N97 has the advantage of supporting Flash Lite, Flash Video and Windows Media 9.
The digital camera on the Nokia N97 is also better to the iPhone’s and having 5 mega pixels with LED flash and DVD quality video recording with built-in video lighting while iPhone has 2 mega pixel and not a built-in flash and manual focus.
N97 also hit the iPhone in memory.N97 has a memory of 32 GB while iphone has a 8 GB or 16 GB.
The most obvious difference is N97 and the iPhone is that the Nokia has a slide out QWERTY keyboard but the Apple gives touch screen keypad.
Both the iPhone and the Nokia N97 have built-in GPSs. The iPhone’s including 3rd party geo location application and Google Maps while in the N97′s including an electronic compass and NokiaMaps. Both have HSDPA, Bluetooth, and WiFi connectivity.
However prices have so far to be released predominantly in US dollars it appear clear at least that the Nokia N97 with all its advantages over the iPhone.
